Congratulations to the 2022 York Book Award winner

The winner was announced at the award ceremony on 25th March 2022 at an event at St Peter’s School, York.

Seven schools from the York area joined us in the celebrations, where we heard the shortlisted authors talk about their books and answer questions from students.

Boy, Everywhere was announced as the winner following an incredibly close vote by the participating students.

The student prizes were awarded after judging by the committee, and were awarded to:

The creative entries will be on display in the children’s section of York Explore following the event.
